Reminder: Safe Streets Public Meeting Tonight

Thursday, March 20

6pm, Tarrytown Senior Center

Come join the Safe Streets for All project team at the first of two in-person public meetings!

The Safe Streets for All Plan, led by the Villages of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow and the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns, is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program and funded through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The project will produce a new Comprehensive Safety Action Plan that takes steps to prevent serious injury and death from traffic crashes.

During this first public meeting, the team will give a presentation with information about current traffic safety trends, the Safe Streets for All project timeline, activities to date, and ways to participate in the planning process. The meeting will also include in-person activities for the public to provide comments and leave feedback on traffic safety challenges they experience.

●      This event will take place on March 20, 2025, from 6-8pm at the Tarrytown Senior Center!

●      All ages are welcome and refreshments will be provided.

●      Register for this event at this link. Advanced registration is not required but highly encouraged.

In the meantime, please consider completing our community survey and come out to meet us at one of our upcoming outreach appearances! You can also learn more about this project by visiting the project webpage.
