Village Responds to Cybersecurity Incident

On December 18, the Village learned that it was subject to a cybersecurity incident impacting its computer network. Staff responded immediately and engaged third party experts, restoring the majority of impacted online services and applications over the course of several days and weeks. See the Village's statement.

You should know: There is no indication resident data was accessed as part of this incident. Should the investigation determine personal information was compromised, the Village will notify any affected individuals via U.S. mail as soon as reasonably possible.

No Roof? No Problem!

You can support renewable energy and receive guaranteed savings by signing up for Community Solar. Be on the lookout for a postcard from the Village of Skokie with details.

Beware of Door-to-Door Energy Solicitations

The Village’s municipal aggregation program provider, MC Squared Energy Services (MC2), is alerting communities that door-to-door energy sales persons may be misrepresenting themselves as MC2 personnel. MC2 will not solicit door to door for this program.

Reminder: Don’t give your ComEd bill to anyone at your door or by phone unless you initiated the call first.

Supporting a Healthy Community

The Village's Community Health Division supported a healthier Skokie throughout 2023!
