Street trees are essential to any community, providing numerous benefits such as shade, aesthetic appeal, and improved air quality. However, many residents in South Jordan City may not realize the importance of keeping their trees compliant with city regulations. Failure to comply not only results in unsightly and potentially dangerous situations but can also damage vehicles and infrastructure.

Mayor Dawn Ramsey has been honored for her efforts on behalf of our residents with the state’s first-ever Martha Hughes Cannon Award for Outstanding Leadership in State and Local Government. This inaugural award was created to honor exemplary women who have made significant contributions to Utah politics. The award was given by Utah Women Run and the Hinckley Institute of Politics at the University of Utah. Congrats, Mayor Ramsey!
