Get Back: 2 Ways to Save on Abbey Road!

The world’s largest Beatles inspired music festival, Abbey Road on the River, returns to Jeffersonville, Indiana this Memorial Day Weekend, featuring performances from more than 50 bands, and plenty of peace, love and music from the 1960s and ‘70s! 

SoIN Tourism has partnered with Abbey Road on the River to offer 2 ways to save on your festival experience!

1. Visitor Center Exclusive! - Now through May 21, purchase discounted one-day general admission tickets at the Southern Indiana Visitor Center (228 Spring St., Ste. 106, Jeffersonville, IN). Tickets are $35 +tax. They include admission for one day (Friday - Monday), admission for Thursday's performances and admission for (1) individual aged 21 and under. Credit or Debit card only! No cash accepted.

Derby Shopping in SoIN

SoIN, so chic! Knock out your Derby shopping in Southern Indiana. Several local boutiques and shops have released their Derby items. Check out places like Sapphire on Spring Boutique in downtown Jeffersonville or Eureka! Menswear in downtown New Albany.

Clarksville Little Theatre presents The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical this April! Follow the journey of Percy Jackson, a young demigod, in this rock musical adaptation of Rick Riordan's best-selling fantasy novel. Show dates are April 3 – 6, 10, 11, and 13. Ticket prices are $20 for adults, $12 for children, and $17 for teens and seniors (60+).

Catch Singin' in the Rain at Derby Dinner Playhouse from April 3 – May 18! Set in 1920s Hollywood, this light-hearted, romantic MGM classic features show-stopping dance numbers and unforgettable music. Your ticket includes dinner, the show, tax and parking. Ticket prices and showtimes vary.

Join the City of Jeffersonville in celebrating Earth Day on April 19 with a community festival at The Depot at NoCo! From Noon to 4 p.m., enjoy arts and crafts, delicious food and drinks, live music, tree giveaways, a planter exchange and much more. Admission is free.

Event Canceled

Vissing Park's annual Easter Egg Hunt from 2 - 5 p.m. on April 5 has been canceled due to inclement weather.

Enjoy New Albany Parks and Recreation’s annual Easter Egg Hunt at Silver Street Park from 9 – 11 a.m. on April 12. Snap a photo with the Easter Bunny, hunt for eggs (scheduled by age group), play games and enjoy music. Admission is free.

Celebrate the Easter holiday at Gateway Park with the Clarksville Parks Department’s Egg-Stravaganza from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on April 19. Participants will travel along the “Cottontail Trail” to collect Easter eggs and goodies. Admission is free. Event includes egg hunts for children with disabilities and one for 18+ participants.

The Charlestown Family Activities Park is hosting the Bunny Dash Easter Dash from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. on April 19. Take photos with the Easter Bunny & Easter Chick. Enjoy free admission to the Family Activities Park for mini golf, roller skating, yard games at The Depot, face painting and more.

Head to the Carriage House at Howard Steamboat Museum on April 24 for “Water in the Sky: Myths and Real Science.” University of Louisville Astronomy Professor Gerry Williger will lead an engaging astronomy talk from 7 – 8:30 p.m., exploring how water influences both steamboats and the skies. Cost is a $5 suggested donation. Seating is first come, first served. 

All aboard for the annual Great Steamboat Race from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. on April 30! A Kentucky Derby Festival tradition since 1963, the race features the Belle of Louisville and the Belle of Cincinnati vying for the coveted silver antlers and a year of bragging rights. Each boat provides food, drinks and live entertainment for ticketholders during the two-hour race.
