TapeScape before it opens to the general public.

Stick with us at the Children's Museum! On Friday, May 10 from 6:30PM to 8:00PM, Children's Museum members and their guests (up to two FREE guests per active member) are invited to attend a sneak peek of our 2019 travelling exhibition,
TapeScape, before it opens to the general public. Guests will get to explore this interactive art installation that sparks creative learning for museum guests of all ages.
This after-hours experience will also feature light refreshments* including ice cream mini cups courtesy of
Neon Cone and complimentary beverages from the museum's Old-Fashioned Refreshment Stand, an opportunity to create a
TapeScape-inspired suncatcher, as well as a chance to enter our draw for a museum membership.

Eric Lennartson, the immersive
TapeScape experience challenges the ideas of what can be construction materials by using packing tape to make an unpredictable and one-of-a-kind environment for STEAM-based learning and exploration.
Strong enough to handle hundreds of energetic kids every day, the smooth and springy surfaces will curve and twist with your movements. Exploring this unusual environment is sure to spark kids' creative learning!
Additional Details
- All active members are invited to bring up to two guests each. Guests must be accompanied by a museum member for free admission.
- Members should be prepared to show identification (either a valid Children's Museum membership card or photo identification if applicable) for admission to this event.
- The Children's Museum reserves the right to restrict admitting children unaccompanied by adults as well as adults unaccompanied by children.
