Bloomington Legend Marcia Bach Honored with Tennis Courts in her Honor 

For decades, Marcia Bach has inspired generations of players, coaches and tennis fans in her Bloomington, Minn., community and nationally. Now, her impact will be remembered for years to come as the Valley View tennis courts are officially renamed in her honor.

Gainesville Juneteenth Celebration Includes Junior Tournament, Picnic 

Play Tennis Gainesville hosted a special weekend of tennis and community at the Joyce Oransky Tennis Center, combining a junior tournament with a Juneteenth Picnic that brought together players, families and community members for a celebration both on and off the court. 

Savannah’s Forsyth Park Tennis Courts to be Rehabbed

Tennis players in Savannah can expect improvements at one of the city’s most popular recreational facilities as renovations to the Forsyth Park tennis courts begin this summer and are scheduled to be completed in September

Bringing Tennis to Military Families at Fort Walton Beach Event

USTA Florida and the Fort Walton Beach Tennis Center partnered to bring tennis to military families during the Red Empire Week Family Day event, held in support of the Army’s 7th Special Forces Group. The event welcomed approximately 2,000 attendees from across the military community.

USTA Florida hosted its second Advocacy Workshop recently at Hillsborough College, bringing together tennis leaders, facility operators, city officials and community advocates to explore strategies for growing the sport and strengthening public tennis infrastructure.

6 College Players Win Wildcards into US Open Main Draw

Young American Ethan Quinn’s Quick Wimbledon Turnaround  

On the heels of arguably the biggest week of his pro career, Ethan Quinn didn’t celebrate. He sat through a four-hour flight delay, endured a long ride from the airport and finally crawled into bed at 5 a.m. Sunday. Less than 36 hours later, he was upsetting the No. 14 seed at Wimbledon.
