The first ever RPD,LLC/LPTG Alumni Picnic!!!!
For those of you that have completed a course from the pro trainers at Rochester Personal Defense/LionsPride Training Group.
Come and join us and meet others that have trained and learned from the gang. Spend some time sharing a fun day and meeting more people in your responsibly trained world. Dave and the gang will have updates on current laws and training, and we can talk about training and self defense too!!!
We'll have raffles, door prizes, games, GREAT food from Dinosaur BBQ, and more.

Reality Based Scenarios
Starting on Tuesday April 11, we will be offering a chance to do more realistic training.
We've been given access to a location that we can do a lot of great work in. Here. you'll experience a scenario, interactive skills, and more. Using Airsoft, SIMunitions, or UTM, you'll get to be placed in a setting or situation that will evolve and you can learn how to use the skils you have to react and adjust to the scenario.
Win or lose, this is a unique learning opportunity that you cannot gain elsewhere.
Start times will be hourly from 4pm until 8pm.
Cost is $10 per run and $5 per additional run.
Location: 2485 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY 14616 (Fetzner Collision complex)
At the beginning of each hour, there will be a safety check and brief.
NO LIVE WEAPONRY WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE TRAINING LOCATION. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTONS TO THIS RULE

Glock Armorer's Course
On may 9, we will once again be hosting GLOCK for the Armorer's course. It will be held at the Gates Town Hall complex, 1605 Buffalo Rd. Time is 8am until 5pm.
You have to be in law enforcement, armed security, or a GSSF member to attend.
Sig Sauer Armorer's courses
On May 18, we will be hosting Sig-Sauer for the P365 Armorer's course. This 1 day course will teach you about the functionality, diagnostics, and repair of your P365 pistol.
Location: Gates Town Hall Complex, 1605 Buffalo Rd
Time: 830am to 5pm
On May 19, Sig will be giving their P320 Armorers course. This course will teach you about the functionality, diagnosis, and repair of the P320 pistol.
Location: Gates Town Hall complex. 1605 Buffalo Rd
Time: 830am to 6pm
Note: You will need to complete a simple background check to attend either of the Sig Academy courses. Details are on the Sig website.

ALMOST COMPLETE
We ARE resurrecting the NYS Certified unarmed and armed guard training program. We're in the final steps of approval and should be up and running very soon. If you are interested, please let us know and we'll add you to the list! WE EXPECT THIS TO BE UP AND RUNNING BY LATE APRIL/EARLY MAY
The New 18HR NY State Mandated Training Course:
Yes. We are conducting the course. If you or someone you know is starting the process, then this is the course you'll have to complete to apply. Each week, we add another county to the list as a resource.
Right now, we have courses happening in all over NY State.
As of March 1, 2023: Our course completion certificate will be accepted in the following counties: ALL NYC Boroughs (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island) Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Dutchess, Genesee, Jefferson, Livingston, Madison, Monroe, Onondaga, Ontario, Orange, Orleans, Oswego, Putnam, Seneca, Steuben, Ulster, Wayne, Westchester, Wyoming, and Yates county.
I even have two affiliate instructors who will be teaching using the RPD, LLC curriculum in the Buffalo area.

I know you'll shop around but think about this: The typical, casual hobby instructor will not have the background to do this correctly. Here's why: this course requires knowledge in many topics. Safety, Storage, mental health, de-escalation, conflict management, and more. It also requires a lot of equipment as well. This course takes a great deal of work to do correctly. With a course THIS important, you want to find the best. You'll want to come to us.
All of the instructors at RPD, LLC and LionsPride TG have the experience and knowledge to teach this course - and to teach it correctly. No shortcuts. If you want the best, come see us. We were the first to be up and running and we continue to offer the best products you'll find.
One price covers all the classroom material, range fees, handgun use and ammunition. All you have to do is register, attend, complete the course, and you are well on your way!

2. Prices are cash only. Exact change. Checks, credit cards, or other forms will require a 4% surcharge.
3. Pickup must be done at the RPD, LLC Training Center. No deliveries. No shipping.
4. Ammo is first come first serve. If you want me to hold it for you, see the next line.
5. Unless paid for upfront, ammo will be held for 5 days from request. After that, it goes to the next person.
6. Iβll only contact you to arrange pickup twice. After that, I move on to the next buyer.
