ELRC Updates

ELRC 8, 9, and 10 would like to invite you to our monthly ELRC Info Session on October 20th. You have two opportunities to join; TODAY at 1:30 or 6:30.

This month, we will have several of our partners joining us to share important updates, so we hope to see you there!

IECMH (Infant Early Childhood Mental Health) - Learn what supports they can offer to your program and your families.
DHS Certification - Updates regarding the new Health & Safety pre-service training, Reinstated regulations, and deadlines for those.
CCW - Updates regarding the new required trainings and the deadlines of those trainings and attestation forms, and updates about payments during COVID.

Lights On Afterschool

If you can't bring your community into your program, bring Lights On into your community! How? Light up a landmark in honor of Lights On, organize a walking art show or car or bike parade, post Lights On yard signs throughout the community, distribute lightbulb art for programs, families, and businesses to post in their windows â€" the possibilities are endless!

Power of Us Workforce Survey

The Power of Us Workforce Survey is a national survey designed for youth-serving staff and volunteers to help us learn more about who makes up these fields, where they work, and what supports they need to continue engaging with young people.

Oct 25 - Teaching Young Children to Follow Routines and Expectations

Participants will reflect upon the many routines and expectations that children are encouraged to follow throughout the day. They will identify and apply strategies to establish and teach expectations across routines within the home and classroom environments. Emphasis will be placed on providing extra support to children who need more instruction and/or practice.
