Eggert Family Dentistry Reminder

A Note About Missed Appointments and Appointments Canceled Last Minute

At Eggert Family Dentistry, our priority is providing exceptional dental care and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible service. To maintain the highest standards, we rely on our patients to honor their scheduled appointments. Unfortunately, we frequently encounter last-minute cancellations and no-shows, which disrupt our schedule and impact our ability to serve other patients, particularly those on our waiting list.

We understand that life is busy and unforeseen circumstances can arise. However, when appointments are canceled with little notice or missed entirely, it prevents us from offering those time slots to other patients in need of care. This not only affects our ability to deliver great customer service but also places a strain on our resources. In order to continue providing high-quality dental care, we have no other option but to implement a fee of $50 or more for missed appointments or those canceled at the last minute.

These procedures are also necessary due to the financial impact of dental insurance companies, which often require us to write off nearly 30% of our annual production. To ensure our business remains sustainable and that we can continue offering top-notch care to all our patients, it is crucial that appointments are always filled. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us achieve our goal of excellent customer service and dental care for everyone.

Our main goal remains to provide “Dentistry for a Lifetime of Smiles!”

Patient Story

When the Puzzle Pieces Aren’t Fitting Together, How to Improve Crowded Teeth – Lisa’s Story

Dr. Elizabeth Eggert has been treating Lisa for many years, starting with treatment for a cracked tooth. Lisa's situation caused frequent sensitivity for her and she took initial attempts to alleviate the problem with a night guard. But, after realizing that tooth positioning was a major factor, Lisa sought a more permanent solution, leading to Invisalign treatment to straighten her teeth and reduce bruxism. After 18 months, Lisa opted for veneers on her upper lateral incisors to complete her smile transformation. Lisa is pleased with her outcome, noting improved dental health and aesthetics.
