Dear Tennis Players:
Hope you had a Great Christmas.
FOR THOSE OF YOU INTERESTED IN HITTING THE COURTS THIS WEEK, I AM HAVING ONE SESSSION ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 27 from 3PM TIL 5PM.
It is time to become extremely focused on your tennis. Of course, stay more focused on your schoolwork but BE READY for the day when your coach hands you 3 balls and says, "You are playing on court 2. First to 6, win by 2. Good luck." At that moment, you must be ready to compete, or you quickly realize that you are not. The kids that have practiced, competed in USTA/UTR tournaments, stretched, ate nutritious meals, and mentally/physically prepared for this moment will be ready. Now all they have to do is give 100% Effort and 100% Positive Attitude during the match and they will get the results desired.
For those of you that want to play in the top 4 for your school, tournament play is MANDATORY. The top players structure all of their training around tournament play. The next 45 days days of training is crucial to having a successful season. No time for slacking. Get your mind right, get your body right and be ready to compete.
