FOGRA research project to develop 3D image quality evaluation methodology welcomes participants
FOGRA invites all 3D printing technologies (including inkjet) to submit a printed test object file for evaluation via existing 2D criteria as well as new 3D criteria being developed to evaluate test specimens. Ultimately, the determined quality vector will be condensed into an integral quality index, the so-called "3D score", with the help of a neural network.

swissQprint expands with new facility in USA
The Swiss manufacturer of large format printers, swissQprint, has announced the construction of new premises in West Dundee, Illinois. The new 24,780 sf building features a showroom & hospitailty area, dedicated training center, warehouse, office, and machine refurbishment/service space. Groundbreaking was on July 9, 2025 and completion is expected by mid 2026. Their current Elgin, IL office will be closed, but California demonstration center wiil remain open.
