Reminder:

As many of you know, we are super excited about Vaya's Pathways to Permanency Project.

This important initiative strives to coordinate efforts between child welfare and behavioral health to ensure youth in foster care have access to high quality behavioral health services and a nurturing environment in which to thrive.
 
We are hosting our quarterly stakeholder meeting on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 9:00-10:30 am.
(Please note that once you register, you will receive an email that includes meeting information and links to add the meeting to your calendar.)

During this meeting, we will share recent developments and updates from our work on the project with DSS Directors and Vaya Leadership. This meeting also provides an opportunity for you to give feedback on the identified solutions.

We have pulled together six amazing workgroups comprised of DSS, Vaya, and providers to address specific challenges and develop solutions for youth in foster care including:
  • Appropriate and Supportive Homes/Placements;
  • Kinship Support;
  • Foster Family Recruitment and Retention;
  • Common Language and Shared Understanding;
  • Accessible Quality Continuum of Behavioral Health Services; and
  • Quality Clinical Assessment to Drive Services.
