Subject: Reminder Proposed Revisions to the ACPM Bylaws
Date: July 11, 2022

This is a reminder message regarding The ACPM Bylaws Committee recommendation to edit the current ACPM Bylaws. The last review and member approval of the ACPM (formerly ACFAOM) Bylaws occurred in 2016.

The voting will take place at the ACPM Annual Meeting of Members on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 6:00pm local time at the Orlando World Center Marriott during the APMA Nat’l.

The current Bylaws (under Article IX - Amendment) contain the following language:

There are two documents contained in the Bylaws Link. One is a current document from 2016 and the other is a document containing the proposed edits dated June 10, 2022. Note, there is no document that contains strike throughs or edits. The voting will be based on the proposed edits document only. You must be present at the Annual Meeting of Members to vote to accept the proposed Bylaws revision. The current Bylaws prohibit electronic voting for this purpose; however one of the proposed additions in the new version would provide for electronic voting in the future.

The Bylaws review process is both time-consuming and at times tedious. The Board of Directors would like to acknowledge the work of the committee and formally thank Drs. Scott Spencer, Gina Painter and Marshall Solomon for their efforts.

Respectfully,

Steven Goldman, DPM
Executive Director
