Real Questions From Real People
Can you tell me what is going up on the property south of the Lake County Fair Grounds, closer to Peterson Rd.?

The building will be the headquarters for a Japanese manufacturer. The company is Okabe and the 130,000 square foot facility includes offices, manufacturing and distribution spaces. Construction has just started so no finish date yet but it is a matter of months. There is room on the site to expand the facility by another 200,000 square feet in the future.
Homeowners Don't Be Scammed Regarding Your Deed
Lake County homeowners have been receiving letters from two companies regarding the deed to their homes. The letters look very official and threatening. If you have any questions, concerns, or need a copy of your deed, contact the Lake County Recorder of Deeds Office directly at 847-377-2575. Please view this video.
