What is the purpose of the study?
To evaluate how myeloma impacts the quality of life of people living with the disease, as well as those who care for them.
Why participate?
Quality of life questionnaires play a crucial role in clinical research because they enable researchers to measure how a disease affects patients' or caregivers’ overall well-being as well as their ability to carry out daily activities.
Who can participate? *
People diagnosed with myeloma and myeloma caregivers who are:
- 18 years of age or older,
- able to read and understand English or French, and
- willing to sign the “Informed consent form”.
How to participate?
If you meet the participation criteria, we invite you to:
- create your profile and register for the study,
- read and sign the “Informed consent form”, and
- complete the questionnaires.
The questionnaires should take about 30 minutes to complete. Once completed, you will receive a compensation of $20 in appreciation of your time and participation. A maximum of 300 patients can participate in the study.
