“Changing Water Quality in Itasca County Lakes”

THURSDAY ~ September 4th ~ 12 noon to 1PM

Today's program will be “Changing Water Quality in Itasca County Lakes” presented by Dr. Jack Jones.

Dr Jones is Curator's Professor Emeritus at the University of Missouri, Columbia, and an adjunct professor at Minnesota Sea Grant. He is also a long-time member of the Deer Lake Association and assisted Itasca Waters with the Itasca County lake monitoring program.

Join us to learn about the declining water quality and the unwanted changes in algae and plant life in our historically pristine waters. This presentation delves into these concerns, examining the data that reveal how our lakes might be evolving. We'll also explore the factors that could be driving these changes.

Attend this online presentation and ask your own questions!
