Parent Snack Support Needed for Terra Nova Testing This is over 1,200 Snacks & 1,200 Mints! We NEED YOUR HELP!

2nd and 6th Graders Need Snacks for Testing Hello Parents,  Next week, our 2nd graders and 6th graders will be taking the Terra Nova Assessments- Monday-Thursday (Oct 2-5) and Monday (Oct 9). We really would appreciate the parent support to buy these snacks and send these into school for us during the week of testing. You can send everything in on Monday and we will store and disperse accordingly. Please see the sign up genius below to help support our children during testing week! REMINDER FOR THIS COMING MONDAY OCTOBER 2nd HELP US APPRECIATE OUR CUSTODIANS

Hi Fairview Families,  National Custodian Appreciation Day is coming up on Monday October 2nd! We have a few parent volunteers who are bring in lunch for our awesome Custodians around 2:30! We would also like to have the table covered with handmade cards from the children. Their names are Terry, Kayla, Anson & Xavier!  Let me know if you have any questions. Please feel free to send them in gifts as well. They sure to work hard to make Fairview a clean environment for our children to learn in each day and I am sure anything would be appreciated!  If you send it a small gift it needs to make its way to the main office. If you send it into the school to your chills teacher you need to label the item(s) or email your teacher letting them know it os a "Custodian Appreciation Day Gift" - NEEDS TO GO TO MAIN OFFICE - Or you could take it into the main office yourself.  Also, a heartfelt card from you or your child works too! Have any questions or concerns please contact our GEBAS PR Chair Erica Neiheisel at pr@gebas.org LETS FILL THE CONFERENCE ROOM TABLE WITH HANDMADE CARDS OF APPRECIATION! :)

Falkenpost General Information What is the Falkenpost? The Falkenpost is the newsletter for Fairview-Clifton German Language School. It contains school news, important Fairview and CPS dates, community events/announcements and more. It is the best way to know what is going on with the Fairview community.  How do I subscribe to Falkenpost? Please click on this  link to register for the Falkenpost. You will be added to the list and will begin receiving a regular Falkenpost until you unsubscribe. We want all Fairview families to get the Falkenpost so encourage everyone you know to subscribe. What types of submissions are appropriate for the Falkenpost? We want to hear about anything of interest to our students and their families. Community and school events and important announcements for Fairview families are great. Advertisements for “for-profit” businesses are generally not published. If you have a question about whether or not something is appropriate, just email and I will get back to you.  How do I submit items of interest to the Falkenpost? Please send an email to  Erica Neiheisel no later than  Friday's at 8:00pm. All entries are reviewed and published at the discretion of the GEBAS board. Please write out a full description of what you want included. Half written content will not be included.  We welcome any feedback you may have on the Falkenpost!
