Real Costs/Effects of Caregiving
Caregiver Concerns

My experience with Trusted Senior Placement was extremely helpful!  I was from N. CA, my sister lived in Orange, we really needed help to get her out of a bad situation into assisted living and our problem was solved.  I am very grateful to Trusted Senior Placement and Teresa Jepsen, whose help was invaluable.

Appropriate for Valentine's month...I really appreciated the article on the healing value of reminiscing about love relationships.  When all is said and done, relationships are what we value most. And, by the way, Valentine's are good for everyone! My husband buys them for our four children as well as for me! Let's have some fun reaching out to show our love and appreciation for those we hold dear, sweethearts or not! Young and old, a box of chocolates, and a classic or newer romantic comedy...bliss! Enjoy this Valentine's month with all your loved ones!

Warm Regards,

Just as the power of reminiscing reawakened the memory of a great love in Nicholas Sparks' heart-wrenching story, The Notebook, researchers at Saint Xavier University School of Nursing have shown that engaging an older patient in telling his or he story is a healing and heart-warming journey for the storyteller and for the nurse who listens.
