Dear Christian Warriors:
President Trump grew his financial wealth at one point remodeling an old hotel in mid-town Manhattan. In the spirit of 1 Timothy 2: 1-2, so that "we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence," join me in praying that, together with me and you, he will begin some remodeling. Join me in praying that instead of remodeling buildings, he would remodel towards righteousness, as we all are called to do.
James 3: 13-18 teaches each of us: " Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace."
At the National Day of Repentance we involve ourselves in “politics” when the words or actions of any party or politician appear to foster a further decline or an advance in the Biblical values of a nation. For example, we spread the word when the newly-elected President of Kenya knelt on the platform publicly, thanking God for his victory. Kenya continues to be blessed.
In the past few weeks, Mr. Trump has taken multiple “pot shots” at Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida. For the story read here:
Our theme at NDR has been consistent. There are FOUR National Sins which are GUARANTEED to bring destruction to any nation:
#1) The Slaughter of Innocents
#2) The Sanctification of Perversions
#3) The Removal and/or Replacement of God Almighty in the Public Square (which includes Socialist/Marxist overreach of Government being declared our “provider” and our “lord.”
#4) The Betrayal of Israel
Since our call is to encourage national repentance in all nations, we have a duty to remind our readers periodically who is moving any nation in the right direction and who is not.
We do not think our salvation will come at the hands of men, but we do want to point out those whose actions appear to “get it” (biblical values) and those whose actions do not.
Now let’s objectively report on Governor Ron DeSantis’ record against the Four National Apostasies. Here is a string of news headlines:

National Apostasy #3: The Removal and/or Replacement
of God Almighty in the Public Square
On Socialist/Marxist government overreach, here's what took place in Florida under Governor DeSantis' Administration:
- DeSantis' State Surgeon General put out an official warning that the COVID jab causes an 84% increase in deaths among males aged 18-39 within 28 days following mRNA vaxx.
- Prohibited private employer "vaccine" mandates.
- Employers who violate employee health choices will be fined.
- Government entities may not require jabs of anyone, including employees.
- Education institutions may not require jabs of students and/or teachers.
- School districts may not enforce face mask policies.
- School districts may not quarantine healthy students.
- Students and parents may sue school districts violating these new laws and recover costs and attorney’s fees.

National Apostasy #4: Betrayal of Israel
Governor Ron DeSantis Announces Actions to Affirm Florida’s Support of Israel which includes:
- Increased security for Jewish schools following terrorist attack against Jews in Pennsylvania
- Punishing companies who participate in “Boycott, Divest and Santion” (BDS) policies against Israel.
- Governor DeSantis made his first trade mission to the State of Israel hoping to expand commercial ties between Florida and Israel and to learn innovative new research from Israel on how to combat issues that affect Floridians such as “red tide.”
- Prohibited state workers from being reimbursed for official travel expenses if they used the services of Airbnb (due to their anti-Israel policies).
Clearly Governor Ron DeSantis is not a Savior. However, we must encourage and support those moving in the right direction and making headway against the 4 National Apostasies. If these evil agendas are not stopped, this nation will be destroyed. That’s a guarantee warning from God Almighty, not from the National Day of Repentance.
In the meanwhile, we need more public figures like this:
"You gotta be ready for battle, so put on the Full Armor of God, Take a stand against the left’s schemes. Stand firm with the belt of Truth buckled around your waist. You will face fire from flaming arrows, but the shield of faith will protect you."
~Governor Ron DeSantis (quoting biblical Truth during a recent campaign speech).
President Trump's slogan at rallies has been : "Save America." The implication is that he has to be elected for this nation to be saved. Now, if he were to call for national repentance, as did ten earlier Presidents, his call would be accurate: he would be accurately pointing us to God's Solution to " Save America."
Governor DeSantis' slogan at rallies is: "Faith, Family and Freedom." GOD first, FAMILY second, and THEN we will have liberty.
Beware any "GOP" politician attempting a “smear campaign” against a Governor who has accomplished this much in such a short time. Like me and you, Governor Ron DeSantis is not perfect. However, we must encourage him as he continues to move Florida and this country in the right direction. If he goes “off the rails” of Biblical values, we must rebuke and correct him as well.
Until then, any power-thirsty politician trumpeting his or her own interests, and not the interests of the Judeo-Christian moral code of this country, should stop blowing his or her own horn. We are all called to avoid becoming " grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts, mouthing great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. " (Jude, verse 16).
Instead, may you and I, and President Trump, as we take up any words, any "trumpet, " REMODEL it ----- towards personal and national righteousness.

Whatever the amount, seed into this move of God, in the same Way as did those believers in Macedonia, 2 Corinthians 8: 1-4: " Moreover, brethren, we make known to you the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia: that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their JOY and their deep poverty abounded in the riches of their liberality. For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing, IMPLORING us with much urgency that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints."
