Central Catholic Families,
We have had a really good week of remote learning. The students hit their stride and our teachers are doing a great job providing meaningful instruction and supporting our students. As a reminder, students should be checking into their Google Classroom and reading emails daily. Also, they should continue to check in each morning on the school website by watching the daily announcement video and adding their name to the attendance roster.
In light of today’s announcement from Governor Pritzker to close schools for the remainder of the year, we will continue to work with the Office of Catholic Schools and begin planning how the remainder of the year will look. We will communicate how we will handle events such as graduation, prom, sporting events, etc. as soon as we are able. We ask for your continued patience and support.
We created a Frequently Asked Questions document, provided below, that we hope will give answers and guidance to our students and families as we continue to navigate through remote learning. If you have not seen the webinar video that was recorded on April 8th, many of the questions that were asked and answered are addressed in the document. Also, you will see there has been a slight change with how we're documenting missing work.
We are so thankful for our students and families. This process would not be going so well without the help and support of our entire community.
