St. Philip the Apostle School
Daily Update from the Principal

Dear Parents,
I hope that you are enjoying the beautiful Sunday weather. Attached is my Monday Morning Greeting for the students. Parents of TK-3rd grade should watch it with their children. 4th and above will watch it during their morning check in.

In a conference call last week, Superintendent Escala told the principals that we are looking at April 20th as our possible return date, but I heard multiple news sources this weekend that stated at least we were in this for at least one more month.

We will definitely take our planned Easter break starting on Holy Thursday, through Sunday the 19th. On Holy Thursday we are hoping to have small prayer services within our school families. I'll share the details with you once we figure it out.

Keep praying and stay home/stay safe.
Jennifer

Below is a note from Mrs. Wong about a way that our families can help out.
Dear Mrs. Ramirez,
I thought I'd forward this to you and see if we can somehow ask our school community to help donate to Huntington Hospital. Just thought I share this email for donations needed ...any masks, N95 or regular, gloves, face shields, shoe covers, disposable suits or gowns...they will take them.
Even if we can all donate something, however, little they may be, it will help.
Take care and hope you are well.
Mabel Wong (Sophia & Nicholas Huynh's Mom)

Drop off is below.
Huntington Collection
Pasadena  (Parking lot access off Fillmore)

There will be staff there to receive your donation. Drop your items in the box from your car. Strict social distancing! We will take your name to thank you.

Thank you
