Dear Christian Warriors:
National Sin: The Mindset of MURDER
What does true National Repentance look like? The Bible says:
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
~2 Chronicles 2:14 (NKJV)
While repentance may also be an individual event, National Repentance must eventually be a “corporate event” if we want to save our nation from destruction. I’m sure there were many Christians in Nazi Germany such as Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who opposed Hitler, but that alone, without the entire nation repenting, did not “save” that nation. If enough individuals truly repent, they should go on to influence a corporate national event. Therefore, unless and until America repents of the awful sin of abortion, the murder of a life in the womb, we have not “arrived” at National Repentance. On this Day 11 of our 47 days of repentance from national sins, this key sin, "the mindset of murder" is based on the mindset of abortion, the slaughter of innocents. This mindset of murder is CRITICAL to remove.
The LORD could not be more clear in the two 26 year old men featured on the news: are you and I following His Righteousness, being a Good Samaritan, disabling a drugged, violent man in the New York City subway, even if we are later placed on trial for racism, OR are we following the mindset of murder, calculating the murder in cold blood of a health care executive for our personal mindset opposing poor national health care? Violence and the mindset of murder can be traced back to our lukewarm approach to those most helpless in the womb. Why are we allowing this national sin to grow into the mindset of murder? The Ten Commandments are right on point: " You shall not murder." Exodus 20:13.
Romans 13:8-14 adds to this: " Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves one another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, 'You shall not commit adultery,' 'You shall not murder,' 'You shall not steal,' 'You shall not bear false witness,' You shall not covet,' and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely ' You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law. And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But PUT ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts."
Yeshua/Jesus said it best: " BUT I SAY TO YOU, LOVE YOUR ENEMIES, BLESS THOSE WHO CURSE YOU, DO GOOD TO THOSE WHO HATE YOU, AND PRAY FOR THOSE WHO SPITEFULLY USE YOU AND PERSECUTE YOU, THAT YOU MAY BE SONS OF YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect [a mature believer] , just as your Father in heaven is perfect." (Matthew 5:44-48)

Please join me in this prayer: Heavenly Father, in Jesus' Name, please forgive me, please forgive my family, please forgive my nation for killing the innocent, murdering the most vulnerable amongst us. And please forgive us for allowing this mindset of murder now to grow among us, especially among young people who do not know You. Forgive us for failing to teach our children Who You Are, and Your abundant LOVE. We are supposed to be light, and light has no course with darkness. True Christians must not compromise, and we must PRESS ONWARD until this scourge of murder, like slavery, has been expunged from our nation. May we remove hatred and murder from our hearts; may we teach our children to LOVE, not hate. In Jesus' Holy name above all names, Amen.
