Dear Christian Warriors:
The LORD's words to King Solomon 3,000 years ago are still true today. From 1623 until 1918, they were used HUNDREDS of times PUBLICLY by our USA forefathers: "When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence [ including moral pestilence] among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land." ( 2 Chronicles 7:13,14 NKJV).
God willing, for the next 22 days, ending on January 20, 2025, the Presidential Inauguration, NDR will share each day a simple devotional, naming a national sin. Following the example of Nehemiah, Ezra, and Daniel, please join us, repenting yourself, for your family, for this USA. Join us each day in your own prayer closet, or in any group, confessing and repenting for that national sin. Then, starting at 11 AM Eastern time on January 19, NDR will encourage a 24 hour National Day of Repentance, concluding one hour prior to the Inauguration on January 20. Intercessors from other nations will join also. The final two hours of the twenty four will be a zoom call, to which you're invited, to acknowledge and repent of the sins and to declare our return to the Lord's Godly roots. It's ALL about giving honor to Almighty God and His process set forth in His Word, not to man. True healing of any nation comes from Him when He "hears from heaven" that His people called by His name have humbled themselves, prayed, sought His face, and turned back to Him, sincerely having repented. May this process restore the Godly roots of this nation.
Another key national sin to focus on this day 26, during this holy-day season, is the national failure in His Church to teach spiritual warfare and boldly to call out the demonic, such as Disney.
Jesus gave the first disciples, and you and me today as His disciples, full authority over the demonic: " Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases." (Luke 9:1)). " After these things the Lord appointed seventy others and sent them out before His face into every city and place where He was about to go." (Luke10:1). "Then the seventy returned with JOY, saying, 'Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name." (Luke 10:17).
Additionally, you and I are not to have fellowship with demons: " ...the things which the gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons." (1 Corinthians 10:20). We are to "submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded." (James 4:7-8).
Our culture is increasingly demonic because the "ecclesia" has not been doing its job. Looking, for example, at the Disney channel, looking at drag queen story hours for children, looking at the growth of halloween and kwanza and pedophilia, our secular culture is now increasingly demonic. This is a sign of our ecclesia failing to lead people into the Holy Spirit, failing to teach spiritual warfare, allowing double-mindedness.
There is no place of comfort for a demon in the presence of a JOYFUL, sincerely submitted, (having repented), believer who has fully embraced the Lord Jesus, abiding in His Word, having answered His call on his or her life (John 15:16).
As the Lord leads, please join me in this prayer: " Heavenly Father, In Jesus' Holy Name,
please forgive me, please forgive my family, please forgive my nation, for our failure to chase away demons from our culture. Forgive us for any idolatry, instead of viewing You, deeply hallowing You, as Almighty God, first in our lives. I repent Lord for not hallowing You by not being more bold to call out the demonic. I choose today to renounce all demons, and instead to move in Your Holy Spirit to be on FIRE for You and Your Kingdom. Restore in us the JOY of Your Salvation, with full authority from You over demons, as we return humbly to You. In Jesus' Holy Name above all names, Amen and Amen."
