Dear Christian Warriors:
The LORD's words to King Solomon 3,000 years ago are still true today. From 1623 until 1918, they were used HUNDREDS of times PUBLICLY by our USA forefathers: "When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence [ including moral pestilence] among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land." ( 2 Chronicles 7:13,14 NKJV).
God willing, for the next 20 days, ending on January 20, 2025, the Presidential Inauguration, NDR will share each day a simple devotional, naming a national sin. Following the example of Nehemiah, Ezra, and Daniel, please join us, repenting yourself, for your family, for this USA. Join us each day in your own prayer closet, or in any group, confessing and repenting for that national sin. Then, starting at 11 AM Eastern time on January 19, NDR will encourage a 24 hour National Day of Repentance, concluding one hour prior to the Inauguration on January 20. Intercessors from other nations will join also. The final two hours of the twenty four will be a zoom call, to which you're invited, to acknowledge and repent of the sins and to declare our return to the Lord's Godly roots. It's ALL about giving honor to Almighty God and His process set forth in His Word, not to man. True healing of any nation comes from Him when He "hears from heaven" that His people called by His name have humbled themselves, prayed, sought His face, and turned back to Him, sincerely having repented. May our churches preach 2 Chronicles 7:14 every service. May this process restore the Godly roots of this nation.
A key national sin to focus on this day 28, during this holy-day season, on this first day New Year 2025 under the roman calendar, is syncretism: the ignorant concept believing all faiths lead to the Living God. This error was demonstrated in King Charles' Christmas Day speech. This is what he said: ""As the famous Christmas Carol, 'Once In Royal David's City' reminds us, 'Our Saviour holy' 'came down to Earth from Heaven,' lived among 'the poor and mean and lowly' and transformed the lives of those He met, through God's 'redeeming love.' That is the heart of the Nativity story and we can hear its beat in the belief of all the great faiths in the love and mercy of God in times of joy and of suffering, calling us to bring light where there is darkness."
No; unique to Christianity is the reality that God so loved each of us that He became human and then willingly died in His blood to redeem and rescue all humanity. There is no love, no salvation in islam or hinduism, for example. The Risen Christ Himself said: " ALL authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. " (Matthew 28:18 AMP). Pray for the King; he's apparently unfamiliar with the amplified version of Proverbs 14:12, repeated in Proverbs 16:25: " There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him, But its end is the way of death."
Yes, new national leaders are "wanting to make America great again." But the deeper cry needs to be "wanting to make America Godly again." Repentance comes before revival. You and I, and untold numbers of other sincere believers in the Risen Christ/Messiah, need to repent for allowing any syncretism, any lessening of Yeshua/ Jesus' FULL authority in heaven and on earth, in ourselves, our families, our neighborhoods, our churches. It starts with me and you and those in the "house of God." (1 Peter 4:17).
As the Lord leads, please join me in this prayer: " Heavenly Father, In Jesus' Holy Name,
please forgive me, please forgive my family, please forgive my nation, for our rebellion, in any form, including believing all faiths lead to God. Forgive us for any idolatry, instead of viewing You, deeply hallowing You, reverently respecting, really fearing YOU as Almighty God, first in our lives. I repent Lord for not hallowing You by not being more bold to call out rebellion in my life. I choose today to renounce all demons, and instead to move in Your Holy Spirit to be on FIRE for You and Your Kingdom. Restore in us the JOY of Your Salvation, with full authority from You over demons, as we return humbly to You. In Jesus' Holy Name above all names, Amen and Amen."
