This fire is predicted in His Word. Hebrews 12:25-29: "See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, 'Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.' [ Haggai 2:6-9 ] Now this, 'Yet once more,' indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire."
God is not only a consuming fire; God also is not mocked (Galatians 6:7). Even as our hearts go out in compassion to all those impacted, God is in authority (Matthew 28:18), and God is not mocked. At the beginning of this Los Angeles fire others and I received words of prophecy that He has been patient and shown His mercy and grace. But the majesty of the LORD was not in the mind and hearts of many: " Let grace be shown to the wicked, yet he will not learn righteousness; in the land of uprightness he will deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD. LORD, when Your hand is lifted up, they will not see. But they will see and be ashamed for their envy of people; Yes, the fire of Your enemies shall devour them." (Isaiah 26:10,11).
Other key Scriptures, and confirmation with others, confirm this Los Angeles massive fire is a needed Judgment on the wickedness, the continuous evil, that took over the mindset of many in the Los Angeles area. The massive fire in California, and other weather-related catastrophes across the USA nation, are a wake up call from the Almighty. Over a century ago a Pentecostal move of the Holy Spirit was born in Los Angeles on Azuza Street. The Holy Spirit was so strong that it appeared as if flames were coming off of the roof where services were held. Today Los Angeles is far better known for being the global center for pornography, sexual perversion, demonic Hollywood movies, idolatry, the killing of innocents in the womb, and mammon as a lifestyle. The anti-Christ spirit has grown thicker and thicker in this Los Angeles area. In the absence of repentance, God's Judgment was overdue.
Scripture supports this move of God as a consuming fire: Nahum 2:2,3:" God is jealous, and the LORD avenges; the LORD avenges and is furious. The LORD will take vengeance on His adversaries, and He reserves wrath for His enemies; the LORD is slow to anger and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked. The LORD has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet. "
Hosea 8:11: They sow the wind, and reap the whirlwind. The stalk has no bud; It shall never produce meal." Just as sowing good produces an even greater amount of blessing, sowing evil produces an even greater amount of punishment.
And also on point is 2 Peter 2:18-19, pointing out the deceptions of false teachers that has led to a humanistic mindset that it's okay to live in wantonness: " For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure [Hollywood at its worst; pornography; mammon] through the lusts of the flesh , through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in terror. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.
Certainly there are exceptions; there are remarkable, wonderful born-again followers of Yeshua the Messiah/ Jesus the Christ living in the area, a number of whom are my dear, dear friends and clients from my law practice. But overall---overall---because leaders increasingly mocked the Words of the Living God, and because many lived in wantonness, the area is experiencing His wrath. It's an example to all of us, all over His Planet, to repent and return to Him.
To urge as many as possible to repent and come into His Kingdom (Matthew 4:17) NDR is calling for private prayers of repentance among all of us, beginning even today, as the Lord leads, or at 11 AM eastern time USA on Sunday, January 19. The 24 hours will then conclude, God willing, with a 2 hour repentance zoom call at 9 AM eastern time USA on Sunday, January 20. We will conclude one hour prior to the scheduled Inauguration of the USA's 47th President. May this combined time of repentance be a gift to him and his cabinet; may it open his mind and heart further to Him.

Each of you, as the repentance remnant, can send more love to others because of your personal repentance, growing in Jesus' holiness. Please pray for those impacted to assure them that God loves them and hasn’t forgotten them. “The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. … For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You” (Psalm 9:9–10, NKJV).
This is more than just prayer; please call, connect, share your love with others who are now so traumatized. It's the goodness of God that leads to repentance. Romans 2:4

Jesus tells us that in these end times: " Take heed that no one deceives you." (Matthew 24:4). We have to be " strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." (Ephesians 6:10). The strength of a nation is found in the Holy Spirit strength of its true believers in the Messiah/Christ, His "ecclesia."
The focus on day 42 is our national sin of failing to "multiply"--prosper-- His Church, as did the first believers in the Risen Christ, and as did our forefathers.
Today, according to George Barna, in the year 2000, 45% of Americans considered themselves "Christian"--["valuing faith and attending a church at least once a month"]. Today the number is 20%.
The answer to the morally corrupt, woke mindset: climate change, open borders, soft on crime, forced LGBTQ and trans agendas--- is PROSPERING, MULTIPLYING Jesus' Church. We have been putting up buildings instead of building character.
Acts 9:31 gives a clear formula for multiplication which many pastors and priests in this nation have failed yet to use: "Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied."
One, those leaders in the early church brought people into the Kingdom of Messiah Yeshua/ Jesus Christ by His Word: Matthew 4:17-- "Repent the kingdom of heaven is at hand." And then they repeated His Word at Pentecost and thereafter. Here's Peter's second speech: " Repent, therefore, and be CONVERTED, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come for the presence of the Lord, and that HE may send Jesus Christ , who was preached to you before." (Acts 3: 19,20).
They had a healthy deep, reverential respect, the fear of the Lord having heard the testimonies how He had risen from the dead, walked among them for forty days, and how lying to the Holy Spirit caused the immediate deaths of Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:11). Having the reverential fear of the Lord and having truly converted, then they received the indwelling Holy Spirit. That Holy Spirit, the Teacher, acted not just as a Teacher to convict of old sin patterns, but also as the Comforter as they grew in Christ. In contrast, the spirits of mammon, idolatry, and the spirit of perversion overtook many in the Los Angeles area, resulting in the Lord's proper Judgment. "Our God is a consuming fire!" (Hebrews 12:29).
The other key element in the multiplication process was the edification process. Believers were equipped for the work of ministry, each part doing its share to grow the Body of Christ in love: " ...that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ--from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes GROWTH of the body for the edifying of itself in love." (Ephesians 4:14-16)
Growing in Christ, multiplying, many had to have followed the earlier work of the disciples. This Word in Mark 6:12,13 also is directed to you and me: " So they went out and preached that people should repent. And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them." The Word in 2 Timothy 4:2 also applies to you and me as today's disciples: " Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and teaching."
As the Lord leads, please join me in this prayer: " Heavenly Father, In Jesus' Holy Name,
please forgive me, please forgive my family, please forgive my nation, for our failure to be "strong in You and in the power of Your might." Forgive us for playing church instead of truly repenting and humbly seeking Your Kingdom and Your Holy Spirit, sincerely repenting and then preaching repentance by our words and our witness in new Godly character to others, especially your LOVE. Forgive us for not following Your Word including the process of edification. Forgive us for not deeply hallowing You, reverently respecting, really fearing YOU as Almighty God, first in our lives. May I listen to Your Wisdom of Your Holy Spirit and then move, bearing fruit in Your Holy Spirit to be on FIRE for You and Your Kingdom. Restore in us the JOY of Your Salvation, with full authority from You as we return humbly to You. In Jesus' Holy Name above all names, Amen and Amen."
