Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
Centuries ago, around 165 B.C., the Jews defeated the anti-God pagans who had controlled their nation. The temple in Jerusalem needed to be cleansed from the filth Antiochus Epiphanes had purposely deposited. A cleansed Menorah was then brought in, with oil enough for one candle. The story handed down to us today is that God then, day after day, replenished the oil for the full eight candles.
Today, Yeshua/Jesus is the Eternal Light. And, as we see God shaking all that can be shaken, (Hebrews 12:28-29), we believers in Yeshua/Jesus, Jews and Gentiles, having repented and converted into His kingdom, (Acts 3:19), are now called to cleanse our own temples, "perfecting holiness in the fear of God." (2 Corinthians 7:1).
We need now to fill our individual temples with the oil of the Holy Spirit as His Bride, Matthew 25:1-13, to be ready for His soon return as the Bridegroom. As each of us removes the "plague of our hearts" our nations also may be healed.

Removing the plague of the heart through repentance allows the Lord to forgive and heal, even when the enemy has inflicted a defeat. This Truth, as applied to Israel, and now each of us in all nations, is set forth in 1 Kings 8: 33-40 (the Complete Jewish Bible version):
“When your people Isra’el sin against you and in consequence are defeated by an enemy; then if they turn back to you, acknowledge your name, and pray and make their plea to you in this house; hear in heaven, forgive the sin of your people Isra’el, and bring them back to the land you gave to their ancestors.
“When they sin against you, and in consequence the sky is shut, so that there is no rain; then, if they pray toward this place, acknowledge your name and turn from their sin when you have brought them low; hear in heaven, forgive the sin of your servants and of your people Isra’el — since you keep teaching them the good way by which they should live — and send down rain on your land, which you have given your people as their inheritance.
“If there is famine in the land, or blight, windstorm, mildew, locusts or shearer-worms; or if their enemy comes to the land and besieges them in any of their cities — no matter what kind of plague or sickness it is; then, regardless of what prayer or plea anyone among all your people Isra’el makes — for each individual will know what is plagueing his own conscience — and the person spreads out his hands toward this house; hear in heaven where you live, and forgive, and act, and, since you know what is in each one’s heart, give each person what his conduct deserves (because you, and only you, know all human hearts), so that they will fear you throughout the time they live in the land you gave our ancestors."
His Solution to heal a land is also set forth in 2 Chronicles 7: 13-14: "When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
We each have to remove the " plague of the heart"---to cleanse our own temples. That process, in turn, allows the Lord to hear from heaven, forgive sin and heal His land.
God willing, on this Global Day of Repentance we will draw upon God's Word from the entire Bible, reaching out to intercessors in over 50 nations, including Israel. We will be praying for its citizens and its protection by Almighty God Who loves it passionately.
There will be private time, three to four minutes each time, with the Teacher, the Holy Spirit, again privately, to see if there is even a remnant of some sin pattern (such as pride) we all took on, having been born children of wrath (Ephesians 2:3) before we followed Yeshua. He IS The Word (John 1:14). We also will have time to confess national sins, such as the killing of innocents and idolatry and sexual perversions.
After each short process, if anyone wants to share, we welcome that, and it builds love and unity. We all nod our heads! We all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But it's optional. Either way, we are cleansing His Bride (Ephesians 5:27); He's the soon-coming Bridegroom.

In the shaking that He promised [Hebrews 12:26-29] do you see that His Gift of repentance needs, all the more, from this time forward, to spread to all persons, everywhere? Doesn't it need to spread to all who don't yet know Him, and to a lukewarm "church," filled with many who have not ever even repented?
