Josephine Waters Bennett Lecture

The Josephine Waters Bennett Lecture will be presented during the conference by Ayanna Thompson, Professor of English at Arizona State University and Director of the Arizona Center for Medieval & Renaissance Studies (ACMRS).

In the wake of the COVID pandemic, high school teachers around the globe have been searching for and creating new ways to immerse their students in the experience of Renaissance culture. In an effort to recognize and share these innovative teaching methods, the RSA is delighted to announce a new competition for the best online teaching projects in secondary education. The three winners of this competition will each receive an award of $1,000.

The deadline to apply to become an RSA nominee for a Whiting Foundation Public Engagement Fellowship or Seed Grant is next month. Whiting awards $50,000 for fully developed projects and $10,000 for developing new projects. Early-career full- or part-time faculty members at a US institution are eligible.
