The recipients of the RSA awards and prizes conferred in 2025 have been announced. We hope you will join us in honoring these scholars at the Awards Ceremony at the RSA Boston 2025 conference on Friday, March 21, at 6:30 p.m.

More than 2,400 scholars from across the globe will be coming to Boston next month for the largest international conference devoted to the study of the era 1300–1700. We look forward to welcoming you to our 71st Annual Meeting being held jointly with the Shakespeare Association of America March 20–22, 2025.


You can view the more than 600 program sessions from the palm of your hand, as the conference app for your phone is now available for download. Please consider volunteering to chair a session at the conference.


There is still time to register. RSA members who are students, independent scholars, adjunct instructors, part-time instructors, unemployed non-students, and retired scholars are invited to use promotional code REDUCEDREG during checkout to register for the conference at the reduced rate of $145. Beginning in 2026, Renaissance Quarterly will be published by the University of Chicago Press. Our journal will join a large cohort of prestigious humanities journals for the fields of medieval, Renaissance, and early modern studies. Read more about the announcement on this webpage.
