The conference submission portal for RSA Chicago 2024 will open in early June, 2023, and the deadline for submissions is August 15, 2023. Our 2024 Annual Meeting will be held March 21–23, 2024, at the Palmer House Hilton Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. Details and the link to post a CfP are on the RSA Chicago 2024 page. Additional submission guidelines can be found on our conferences page. We look forward to receiving your CfPs. Please contact the RSA office with any questions.

We will hold our annual Member Meeting via Zoom videoconferencing on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. (EDT). Convert the time zone here. This year our members will vote on a slate of nominees for positions on the Board of Directors and the Nominating Committee. Members are welcome to vote online, anytime between now and May 31, or during the Zoom meeting, where there will be an opportunity for Q&A.

Please cast your ballot by May 31 and RSVP here to receive the Zoom link for the meeting. The agenda for this year’s meeting and the minutes of last year’s meeting are available here.

Join us June 8 for a webinar on Planning Your Publication Strategy. RSA members can meet with experienced researchers who will advise on how to best map out a successful approach to publishing. We will look at the various types of publications and provide a framework for a long-term strategy, highlighting ways to carve out time each term to accomplish your goals. Registration is required and the webinar will be held at 1:00 p.m. (EDT). Easily convert the time zone.

Submissions are due June 22 for innovative teaching projects in Renaissance studies by RSA members who are high school teachers. Two grants will be awarded, each of approximately $2500 plus travel expenses to the RSA conference. Please click on this link to access the application. The winners will be announced on July 17.
