Call for Proposals

The RSA is pleased to announce a new online publications initiative in collaboration with the Digital Latin Library (DLL). Our Editorial Committee is now considering proposals for editions of early modern Latin texts.
RSA Digital Innovation Prize

The RSA is recognizing excellence in digital projects that support the study of the Renaissance (1300 1700). The deadline for applications is 15 October 2019 . To learn more and apply, please see the award page.
RSA Philadelphia 2020
Acceptance & Travel Grant Timelines

Thank you for submitting so many strong proposals for our upcoming Annual Meeting in Philadelphia. The submission deadline was 15 August 2019 and the Program Committee is now reviewing the applications. Conference acceptances will go out by November 1 . Applications for travel grants, diversity grants, and on-site care grants will be due on 3 December 2019 . The application link will be live once acceptances are announced.
Digital Humanities Summer Institute

The RSA is partnering with the Digital Humanities Summer Institute (DHSI) in 2020, to offer five week-long tuition scholarships to current RSA members who wish to attend the institute. The deadline for applications is 15 October 2019 .
Early English Books Online
Partnership Renewed

The RSA and ProQuest have renewed their unique partnership , allowing RSA members access to Early English Books Online (EEBO). The renewal coincides with EEBO moving to the powerful, newly-enhanced ProQuest Platform (from its legacy Chadwyck-Healey interface).

South Central Renaissance Conference (SCRC)
Submissions due 16 December 2019 for the March 2020 Conference in Dallas, Texas. Sponsored by SCRC and its affiliate societies—the Queen Elizabeth I Society, the Andrew Marvell Society, and the Society for Renaissance Art History.

The Society for Medieval and Renaissance Philosophy (SMRP): First Ever Stand-Alone Conference
Proposals due 1 February 2020 for the October 2020 Conference in South Bend, Indiana. Sponsored by the SMRP.

Eighth Annual Symposium on Medieval and Renaissance Studies
Submissions due 31 December 2019 for the June 2020 Conference in St. Louis, Missouri. Sponsored by the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies of St. Louis University.

Third Joint Conference of the American Association for Italian Studies (AAIS) and the American Association of Teachers of Italian (AATI)
Submissions due 15 October 2019 for the March 2020 Conference in Tucson, Arizona. Sponsored by AAIS and AATI.
