Plans are underway for our 68th Annual Meeting, to be held in Dublin, Ireland on Wednesday, 30 March 2022 through Saturday, 2 April 2022. The submissions portal for Dublin 2022 will open on July 1, and the deadline for submissions is August 10. Please familiarize yourselves with the submission guidelines. Members may now post CFPs on the RSA website.
 
We know that travel to Dublin will not be possible for everyone and that is why we have decided to schedule a special RSA virtual event to be held in early December 2022. This event will have a broad theme and will feature session formats that are especially successful online, such as workshops, lightning rounds, and seminars with pre-circulated materials. The RSA welcomes nominations for the Phyllis Goodhart Gordan Book Prize. The 2022 Gordan Prize will be awarded to the author of the best book in Renaissance studies published between 1 July 2020 and 30 June 2021. The submission deadline for nominations is 31 July 2021.
Cambridge University Press, the publisher of Renaissance Quarterly, is committed to reducing their energy-related emissions to zero carbon globally by 2048, with a 70% reduction by 2030. Printing and distribution contributes the most negatively to their overall impact on the environment.

In support of Cambridge's initiative, please consider receiving an e-only subscription to Renaissance Quarterly. RSA members currently receiving a print edition can opt-in for an electronic subscription by emailing us here. If you'd like to subscribe to Renaissance Quarterly, become an RSA member. Membership dues in 2021 start as low as $12.
Applications will open July 1 for the 2021-22 RSA mentorship program. These small professional development discussion groups composed of scholars at all career levels will meet occasionally during the academic year and encourage forthright conversations about career paths, professional challenges, and current concerns. Applications for the 2021-22 program are due by 19 July 2021. More details can be found here.
