Renew Your National CCAA Membership

August 2021

Dear National CCAA Member,

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to thank you for your membership in the National Catholic College Admission Association (National CCAA). Our member institutions are part of a dynamic, international organization that reaches thousands of students and counselors each year in person, online, and around the world.

As President, I am asking you to renew your membership and continue benefiting from the growing influence of the National CCAA. During this past membership cycle, we added new membership benefits that used virtual programs to recruit students and connect with counselors. We are continuing these programs for the 2021-22 membership cycle to continue offering widespread outreach and promotion of Catholic higher education.

We are pleased that the membership dues of $1500 have remained the same for twelve consecutive years. With the value of the membership benefits listed below, membership dues are worth your institution’s investment. Now more than ever.

Here is a brief explanation of our 2021-22 membership benefits:

  • Our redesigned website,, continues to be one of the top go-to sites for Catholic college information among students, parents, and counselors, with over 50,740 visitors in the past year (a 56% increase over the previous year). Prospective students are able to search for your institution and submit inquiry requests for each member.

  • The National CCAA Scholarship is a one-time, $1,000 scholarship for students who matriculate to one of our member institutions as first-year and transfer students. We received nearly 4,000 applications for this year’s National CCAA Scholarship. During this past membership cycle, 16 students from around the world were awarded scholarships and will be attending one of our member institutions.

  • Virtual recruitment programs featuring only our members—Catholic colleges and universities—will be offered this membership cycle (two in the fall and two in the spring). Registration for these fairs is required. You must be a CCAA member to attend/exhibit. All participating schools can invite their prospective students to participate.

  • During the fairs, we will also offer presentations about college admission topics, such as financial aid and the value of Catholic higher education. Registration information and dates about the fall programs will be sent to you after you send your membership form. To take advantage of these opportunities, complete and return your membership form early!

  • Voluntary data and real-time information sharing, along with regular virtual communication outlets with other National CCAA members throughout the academic year, will allow members to network with each other and stay informed of trends happening during the admission cycle while benchmarking your institution among other Catholic colleges and universities.

  • Regular outreach to secondary and independent counselors with virtual Counselor Town Hall Sessions and Counselor Newsletters. We currently have over 5,000 counselors from all over the world in our database, and we plan to extend invites to the session and send newsletters to all of these counselors. During the last membership cycle, the Town Hall Sessions were regularly attended, with questions frequently asked over the chat feature and lively discussions about timely topics occurring.

  • National CCAA members will have the opportunity to participate in both Town Hall Sessions and Newsletters, which is a great way to connect with counselors, engage in professional development, and promote your institution. Click here to listen to Counselor Town Hall Sessions and click here to read Counselor Newsletters from the past membership cycle.

  • A newly formed Transfer Student Task Force is being created. The task force’s purpose is to develop outreach and resources for the recruitment of transfer students to Catholic colleges and universities. We look forward to providing this benefit to our members to assist in working with this unique student population.

Click here to complete the membership form. Please note that the September and October virtual recruitment programs will likely fill up quickly. Spaces will be given on a first come, first served basis and are not guaranteed. For the best chance of participating in these fairs, we recommend submitting your membership form by August 18. We cannot guarantee fair participation for institutions submitting their membership forms after September 1.

I know that budgets are being cut and difficult decisions are being made, but I hope you will consider the positive impact your membership will have for your institution and enrollment goals. The Board of Directors and I are here to support all of our members through these uneasy times. As enrollment leaders at Catholic colleges and universities, it is part of our mission to serve and guide others, as well as promote our member institutions that offer so many opportunities (educational, social, emotional, financial) that students truly need.

Please let me or our Executive Director, Joyce Masek, know if you have any questions or concerns.
