Good Afternoon, Church Family!

At MCC we believe in creating meaningful ministry environments. For instance, we focus a lot of time on Sunday Gatherings and Community Groups. We also encourage folks to serve others in MCC Kids or through the Connect Team; we believe these environments are places God uses – by His Spirit – to shape us and to shape others.

Another ministry environment we offer are the MCC Adult Classes. These classes are environments for you to grow in your knowledge and understanding of the Scriptures. They are classes that equip us to live out our faith more deeply on our frontline – whether that is the workplace, classroom, or at home in your neighborhood.

The 2020 Winter/Spring Trimester begins January 26th and your Christian Education Committee has put together three classes for us to grow our faith in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Our upcoming classes are...

  • MCC Inquirers Course (100 Level). Taught by Pastor Travis and myself, this class is for those who are newer to MCC or have questions like what the church believes, how to grow, and what church membership means. All of this is taught in a relaxed, conversational atmosphere. If you’re new to MCC and have not taken this course, this is your next step.
  • Pound the Pavement: Evangelism for Everybody (200 Level). This is a class designed to equip us with the skills and Scriptures to effectively share our faith with others. If you want to more faithfully live on your frontline, join Rindo and Cheryl Barese as they equip us to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel.
  • Build Your Core (300 Level). Build Your Core will give you an in-depth look into "core" doctrines. Join a dynamic group of teachers as we seek to understand the great truths of our Christian faith. Topics will include the Doctrine of the Church (ecclesiology) and the Doctrine of Future Things (eschatology).

Church family, take advantage of one of these class offerings. Each of these classes happens during our MCC KiC@Nite Program, so full childcare is available.
