HIF mobilized nearly a dozen industry partners who donated labor and materials to renovate the Unity Place apartment complex in San Jose, serving transitional age youth. The improvements made included: new double pane windows, complete exterior painting, new laundry room flooring, updated landscaping, Tuff Shed installation, and new exterior signage. The Total market value of the donated renovations was approximately $74,000.

State Senator Jim Beall delivered a few words of thanks to all involved with the Unity Place Renovation! Also in attendance were local business leaders and community partners who toured the newly completed work.

Covered Parking area and Storage Shed were repainted behind the apartments.
New Washer and Dryer
added to laundry room with new paint and floors.
