Pasadena Housing Providers

Dear Landlords and Property Managers,

When you raise rents in Pasadena, you are required by Article XVIII (Measure H) to send your tenant a copy of this form specifying their rights.

The Rent Board’s activists have said they are trying to create antagonism between tenants and housing providers. One way they can do this is by trying to trap us into making mistakes that some tenants can use against us, so it’s important to pay attention to paperwork.

Make sure that you give 30 days’ notice to regular tenants, and 60 days to Section 8 tenants (plus an additional 5 days if you’re mailing the notice).

Great record keeping protects the owner and is worth the time and energy.

Do you have parking problems with tenants or their guests? Call our friends at Hillcrest Towing at (626) 798-7817 and have them put up some tow-away signs (see below!) If you have a problem, call Hillcrest Towing.

We will continue fighting for fairness in Pasadena’s rental market and protecting property owners. We will also continue updating you on the Board’s activities as well holding them accountable. Activists don't like accountability.

Regards,

Pasadena Housing Providers
