Dear Bishop Hendricken Family,
Today, in accordance with guidelines from the Rhode Island Department of Education and the Catholic Schools Office, we are proud to unveil Reopening Bishop Hendricken: our plans for a return to school for the 2020-2021 academic year.
For months now, we have been preparing policies and protocol for several reopening scenarios. We have conducted extensive research on everything from health and safety guidance, cleaning, personal protective equipment, a myriad of educational models, public health recommendations, and more. Administration and our strategic reopening committees have been, and will continue to be, hard at work to ensure a safe return to school.
As it currently stands, our goal, hope, and intention is to utilize the Full Model of reopening for the beginning of 2020-2021 Academic Year set to begin at the end of August.

. We highly encourage parents and students to review the full document, peruse the slides, and use this website as a resource.
While we've done our best to provide as much information as we can on as many topics as possible up to this point, we will continue to develop more and more robust protocol based on updated guidance from state, education, and public health officials. As we navigate these, we're asking for your continued flexibility and support. We will communicate any and all updates on our decisions via edits to our plan documents, our website, social media, and email.
