Reopening Updates as of May 29, 2020
As the health data improves on Cape Cod and in the state, we prepare for reopening new sectors in our economy.
Today, Gov. Baker previewed an executive order to be filed on Monday relative bringing back employees needed to prepare for reopening in Phase 2.
Further, on June 6th
the Governor will
announce when Phase 2 begins
(the state has reiterated there are at least 3 weeks between phases.) It will also release
in more detail
which sectors
can reopen in Phase 2.

The Cape Cod Reopening Task Force has been working with local elected officials, town managers and town departments to help both towns and businesses be fully prepared to bring the Cape’s economic activity back online. Several tools have been developed to help in this effort, including a

to assess progress, an
economic data dashboard
to report information that may assist you with business planning or grant writing.
