Reorientation: From Doubt to Hope
|
|
This Sunday we continue in our series on Reorientation: From Doubt to Hope. Through biblical characters such as Doubting Thomas, Denying Peter, and Determined Mary, we have seen how the grace of God is able to meet us exactly where we are, be present in our suffering, provide new opportunities, and guide us through any situation. Despite our growing hope in God, many of us still struggle to have hope in the people of God–the Church. Due to the church not always being as loving as we should be, there are many who doubt us and the God we proclaim. Today we learn of the greatest commandment taught by Jesus, the commandment to love. We turn to the commandment of love in hope that it will transform us to love like God loves. We turn our hearts and minds to the Ultimate Source of ABUNDANT and UNCONDITIONAL Love. Let us worship the God who created us in love, by love, and for love.
