As we head into the holiday season, I often reflect over the last year and what we accomplished within the General Assembly. One of those accomplishments was the development of the Rural Council, which has been charged with concentrating on issues important to our area of the state. I encourage you to follow these initiatives as they will affect the entire state. I have detailed more in my full report below.

It is hard to imagine that in less than two months, we will back on Capitol Hill for start of the  2018 legislative session. This session will be jam packed with issues as we work non-stop through the 40 days. As always, I will be sending out a session preview for your review. Legislation that was introduced last year will still be considered for passage this year.

In the meantime, if you need anything at all regarding legislative matters, please contact me. Thanks so much for your ongoing support. May God bless each and every one of you!

Rural Initiatives Overview

As we make our way into the thanksgiving season, there are number of reasons that I am thankful. From a personal standpoint, I am thankful for the love and support of friends and family. From a political standpoint and as a member of the General Assembly that represents rural areas, I am thankful that our state has recognized the critical need to revitalize and assist our rural areas.
