Debates under the Gold Dome continue to heat up as we make our way through the remaining days of session. It is hard to believe that we are near the session halfway mark. From here on out, the all out pace continues as we race to ensure our bills are heard before assigned committees prior to Cross-Over Day which will be here before we know it.

We are still reviewing legislation in regards to adoption proceedings, tax reform, rural revitalization and much more. I will keep you up to date throughout session on our efforts.

Again, thank you for the opportunity to serve on your behalf. If you need any assistance at all, please don't hesitate to contact me anytime. I love working for you but even more than that, I love hearing from you! I can't effectively vote our district stance on issues, if you don't tell tell me what you think. Please  email me if you have questions, concerns or ideas regarding legislation that you believe will benefit our district.

Session Update
Week  3

During week 3, we focused on measures recommended by our various House study committees. We also worked with the Senate to pass an adjournment resolution, which maps out our remaining thirty days on Capitol Hill. As we continue to move forward, there is no shortage of committee meeting work, issue debate and Capitol day events.
