Dear Friends,

December was a month brimming with joy and excitement, as it brought countless moments filled with family, friends, and celebration. It was a time to reflect on the year while looking forward to the bright possibilities of 2025.

As we bid farewell to the past, there’s a palpable sense of optimism in the air, with the promise of a new year that holds so much potential. The arrival of a new president marks a turning point for the country, inspiring hope for progress and unity. With all that’s to come—new opportunities, fresh beginnings, and the collective energy of a nation moving forward—the excitement for the year ahead is undeniably contagious.



Maggie and I hope you enjoyed a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Above, you can see our beautiful Christmas tree and, of course, the stars of the holidays, the dogs.

AIF Water Forum hosted a summit, and I had the honor of joining them as a moderator. I greatly appreciated the opportunity to discuss the water policy issues that are important to our state.

I always love a good parade! It was a pleasure to join the Martin County REC for the 63rd Annual Stuart Christmas Parade. President Trump even made a special guest appearance.

PGA H.O.P.E (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) hosted a “Red, White, and You” golf tournament that I was able to join and participate in. This is a great organization that prompts golf for our veterans.

The City of Port St. Lucie was the first city in the state to train all city employees on how to spot human trafficking. It was an honor to have Florida State Attorney General Ashley Moody join us to celebrate this accomplishment.

In December, I joined my fellow local leadership team at the SLC delegation meeting. We had the incredible opportunity to learn more about the important needs of our community!

Indian River State College is an incredible school and an amazing institution in our community. I was honored to be the commencement speaker at two of their graduation ceremonies, honoring students on their remarkable accomplishments. 

My team had the opportunity to attend the Treasure Coast Regional League of Cities Luncheon and Installation. They heard from special guest speaker President Michael Blake from the Coco Beach area. New officers were introduced and celebrated at this great event in our community!

Constituent Services:

A concerned constituent reached out to our office, overwhelmed by a difficult situation and unsure where to turn for help. He had been wrongfully taken advantage of by an out-of-state mortgage company, and despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue on his own, he found himself in a vulnerable position, facing foreclosure. Our office quickly stepped in, connecting him with the Division of Consumer Finance, which was able to intervene and advocate on his behalf. Thanks to their efforts, we are pleased to report that the situation is now being resolved in his favor, providing him with the support and relief he desperately needed. This process took weeks, and my staff was committed to keeping him informed and making sure he got the support he needed from the state.

As we enter the new year, I look forward to all that we will accomplish for our state and community. 2025 is full of promise and new beginnings! It is an honor to serve you in the Florida Legislature, and I'm excited to get right to work for you.
