Dear Friends,

The first week of the 2025 Legislative Session has officially kicked off, and it’s been an exciting and eventful start here in Tallahassee. As we begin this year’s legislative journey, I’ve been engaging with fellow lawmakers, community leaders, and advocates to discuss the key priorities that will shape Florida’s future.

From policy discussions to committee sessions, we are laying the foundation for important legislation that will have a lasting impact on our state. I’ve also had the opportunity to connect with constituents and industry leaders to ensure that your voices are heard and included in the decision-making process.

As the session progresses, I’m excited to keep you informed on the latest developments and remain committed to achieving meaningful results for our district and all Floridians. Stay tuned for more updates in the weeks ahead!

Day One of the 2025 Legislative Session! Maggie and I are all smiles as we kick off another exciting term in the Florida House. It’s an honor to serve District 85 and work on policies that make a difference for our great state. Looking forward to a productive session ahead!

Kicking off the legislative session with Governor Ron DeSantis's opening address! He gave a powerful speech outlining the vision for Florida’s future. I look forward to working alongside my colleagues to make it happen!

  • Cracking Down on Illegal Immigration – Florida is making rapid progress, now making it a crime to enter the state illegally.
  • Lower Auto Insurance Costs – Floridians are seeing relief as automobile insurance prices continue to drop.
  • Homeowners Insurance Improvements – Efforts to stabilize the market have led to lower homeowner insurance rates.
  • Reducing Government Spending – Florida remains fiscally responsible by cutting unnecessary government expenditures.

I was glad to meet with the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations to discuss their important work and legislative priorities. Supporting education is key to Florida’s future, and I appreciate their dedication to our students and schools!

It was great to meet with BlueCube and hear about their work and initiatives. Their Wolfpack team, made up of students from Palm Beach and Martin Counties, has already launched three satellites and is developing a fourth. Through the ACET initiative, local schools and Palm Beach State College will build and launch six small satellites within a year, while also expanding academic pathways for aerospace certifications. I appreciate the opportunity to discuss ways to support innovation and business growth in Florida!
