Dear sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus, part of a growing repentance remnant globally,
These are key Words of God: " So they went out and PREACHED that people should REPENT." Mark 6: 12
" Then He said to them, 'Thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that REPENTANCE and remission of sins should be PREACHED in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." Luke 24: 46-47
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be PREACHED in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." Matthew 24: 14
Question: when is the last time your pastor or priest modeled repentance and then instructed you to PREACH REPENTANCE?
Clearly, muted by the dead spirit of religion, many of us have failed to follow Jesus' command and the example of those first disciples. They preached that people should repent! Repentance is the only Way into His Kingdom. " From that time Jesus began to PREACH and to say, "REPENT, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matthew 4:17
Instead of sitting in a seat or pew listening to someone else at some church service, you and I are called first to enter His Kingdom by dying to self, truly converting, making an eternal decision of your free will to change your thinking, sincerely repenting, choosing a new purpose and action in Christ as your Lord. Then, having now been given His Miracle Holy Spirit, you are truly CONVERTED, and are now a new creation!
You can then PREACH to others boldly as His Vessel by your words and your new character and conduct. At that point you are a witness to many !
His ongoing LOVE and boldness as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah flowing through you will then cause you to PREACH , as did those first believers, each day: " And DAILY in the temple, and in EVERY house, THEY DID NOT CEASE TEACHING AND PREACHING JESUS AS THE CHRIST!" Acts 5: 42.
Please join me if you wish in this prayer: " Abba Father, in Yeshua/Jesus' Holy Name above all names, please forgive me, and please forgive us in Your Body of Christ, for failing to follow your Word and to preach daily repentance and the remission of sins thanks to the Blood of Your Son and Your Gift of Repentance. Create in me a clean heart oh God. Renew a steadfast Holy Spirit in me. Please pour out Your Holy Spirit so that I can speak boldly and preach repentance, using Your gift of repentance daily in my life, as I seek , as a member of Your Royal Priesthood, to be holy as You call all of us to be holy. In Yeshua/ Jesus' Holy Name, Amen and Amen."
