Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
Repenting to come into His Kingdom needs to be the number one issue of our brief lifetimes. Repent or perish. (Luke 13:1-5). Jesus says that TWICE in those five verses!
Today we want to give God all the Glory for this weekend as part of Apostle Sebita's "Cleansing the Bride" Crusade in Balaka amongst the Widowed woman, children. So much has happened - as the whole Village joined the Crusade, not just the women as was originally planned.!! A Muslim cleric gave his life to Christ!
It is very difficult to pick only certain photos, and to keep the report short. But here follows the feedback Sebita has sent us today...
CLEANSING THE BRIDE BALAKA CRUSADE BRIEF REPORT

BACKGROUND
Masauko Village, Traditional Authority (T/A for short) Kachenga, Balaka district, Malawi, is a low-density rural area close to 30km North of Balaka district. It’s connected to Balaka by poorly maintained gravel roads with some bridges almost falling apart. The people of this area are mostly Muslims by birth and almost all of them do not have an educational background which has contributed to the fact that almost all households are poor and can’t afford a basic life. A few households grow cassava as a staple food which hardly sustain them half a year and only help themselves to cooking naturally grown mangoes especially towards the last quarter of the year. As a result of insufficient basic food, most households have cases of malnutrition and prevailing higher numbers of nutritional diseases. It’s on this background that I was led by the spirit to take the gospel to these forgotten corners of the world so that they too can discover their true identity in Jesus Christ and also mentoring them with basic skills and business ideas which will help them complement their living and support their families as a long-term goal.
THE CRUSADE
The crusade was nothing less than a success. It attracted both the old and young, men and women, all village headmen, group village headmen and the T/A himself graced the crusade on both days. Over two hundred people came to the crusade and this turnout accounts almost all households as this is a very low-density area which means a large number of them had to walk long distances coming to the crusade. The theme of the crusade was “Cleansing the bride” which was actually preceded by introducing Jesus Christ since almost all of them were muslims, followed by the “Cleansing the bride,” “repentance” and “the new birth.”
We winded up the first day by showing a firm of Jesus Christ through projection. We actually saw even a big turnout in the evening who came to watch the firm with the most wonderful attention and curiosity, in a way, the firm further ministered to them.
On the second day, we again preached the gospel of Jesus Christ to them followed by an altar-call, almost all of them repented, led to Jesus Christ, and received Him as their personal Lord and Savior.
We ministered holy communion and almost all of them received and ate the communion after being taught the significance of holy communion in the Christian faith.
We winded up by praying for the sick, deliverance and other special prayers. I also had a brief meeting with the poor widowed women that am looking after.
MIRACLES AND TESTIMONIES
1. Our guitarist fell very sick of malaria on the second day that he could hardly walk but got healed instantly after taking holy communion
2. People who had suffered terrible pains in their bones and bodies got instantly healed, the pains disappeared after holy communion and the prayers. - See last 2 photos above of 1 lady who had elephantiasis in her leg, could walk after prayers.
3. Almost all Muslims converted and received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior
4. The T/A Senior Chief preached Jesus Christ and appealed that we continue fellowshipping with them
5. Most of them wanted Bibles and we only gave them a small book with the gospel of John.
CHALLENGES
1. We had strange vehicle breakdowns on the day of travelling to Balaka. Both teams from Blantyre and Lilongwe encountered problems with the vehicles but we give glory to God that our Blantyre team managed to fix the vehicle on time. The Lilongwe team however ended up just sending the Pastor when their car issue seemed bigger.
2. The generator gave us problems but we always braved our voices whenever the generator was down.
3. Fuel scarcity in the country also affected us as we had to stand on the queues for long
FURTHER NEED
The need of continued support both spiritually and skills and business initiatives cannot be overemphasized. We have preached to many souls who have given their lives to Jesus Christ but there’s a need of following up and nurturing them. This needs regularly going there as well as implementing the initiatives so that they may in future be able to look after themselves and also help others in need. The Senior Chief T/A echoed and pleaded with me for this.
We therefore appeal to well wishers to sow a seed with both material as well as financial aid for continued support.
We still have outstanding Debts of about $300, as we still owe on our Lodging, and Transportation and Fuel costs.
FUTURE PLANS
We plan to preach the gospel to as many areas as this both locally and internationally hence we further appeal for your continued support.
