We held an awesome Global Day of Repentance zoom on July19. Using His Solution--2 Chronicles 7:13,14--we called on the LORD to end the violence in the Congo. Among the dozens of such GDRs over the years this one clearly was the most powerful; the Holy Spirit was more present than ever.
Three local pastors from the Congo were able to join; one spoke in French! We prayed and repented in private time with the Holy Spirit for personal and national sins. As always, God honors His Word: prayers were answered !
REPENTANCE RELEASES RELIEF ! GOD'S SUPERNATURAL RELIEF!
We have since learned that at the very time of our Global Day of Repentance a "Declaration of Principles" was signed between the DRC and the Rwanda-backed rebel group M23. The new document calls for prisoner and detainee exchanges and the restoration of state authority throughout the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Thanks to the Lord this brings the two sides one step closer to a permanent ceasefire agreement, stopping the M23 capture of Goma and Bukavu and stopping the 7,000 killed this year. Ultimately, God's Hand, if we continue to follow His Solution, will end one of Africa's longest conflicts---6 million dead over 30 years.

Now we are attempting to schedule a GDR this coming Saturday for the nation of Zimbabwe. They face a historic draught. Crops are dying. There is an acute need for food.

REPENTANCE RELEASES RELIEF far beyond what man can do; the RELIEF IS SUPERNATURAL WHEN HIS PEOPLE CALLED BY HIS NAME, (1) HUMBLE THEMSELVES, (2) PRAY, (3) SEEK HIS FACE, AND (4) TURN FROM WICKED WAYS. THEN THE LORD WILL "HEAR FROM HEAVEN, FORGIVE SINS AND HEAL THE LAND."

At the same time that the Holy Spirit is AFLAME in Africa, the enemy is attacking frantically. Your prayers and your support, whatever the amount, are needed to block the enemy and release Provision to our brothers and sisters in Christ in Africa, all preaching repentance.

As the Lord directs, and gives you any of His Provision to help, thank you in advance for your prayers and tangible support for your neighbors in the flock. We're directed in Galatians 5:13,14: "For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."
