Dear sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus, part of a growing repentance remnant globally,
This week, holy for Christians and Jews, includes removing leaven, sin in ourselves and our habitations. Exodus 12: 25 states: " Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that person shall be cut off from Israel."
And the Holy Spirit, speaking through Paul in 1 Corinthians 5: 6-8, tells us: " Your glorifying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."
There is no better Way to remove the old sin patterns, the old leaven, than to spend time alone with the Risen Christ, Who is standing at the door of your heart and mind, knocking. If you will hear His voice and open the door He will come in and dine with you and you with Him. ~Revelation 3:20.
Have communion with Him!! Ask Him which old sin pattern is most ready to be removed once you confess it to Him. Once you've confessed it, He will forgive you. You can then exercise your free will to renounce and repent from this dead leaven permanently, forever replacing that stronghold, that old pattern with His Pure Word as your direction.
HE LOVES YOU AND ME SO MUCH!!
Of course, He will help you. His will for you and me is for us to become overcomers to sit with Him on His throne as He overcame and sat down with His Abba Father on His throne. ~Revelation 3:21
WOW! what a promise!
Go for it today and every day. No need to keep it to seven days; make the removal of leaven a daily practice until He returns or calls you home.
