Dear Global Christian Warriors,
As a devotional, or as a church service, here is a suggested time of repentance worship, honoring His Gift of Repentance:
Opening Worship
Scriptures: Psalm 51; Matthew 4:17; Ephesians 5: 26-27; Revelation 3: 1-22
A definition of repentance: Mark 1: 14-15 (Amplified Bible): " Now after John [the Baptist] was arrested and taken into custody, Jesus went to Galilee, preaching the good new of [the kingdom of ] God, and saying, ' The [ appointed period of ] time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent [ change your inner self---your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God's purpose for your life ] and believe [ with a deep, abiding trust ] in the good news [regarding salvation.]
Brief sermon: Luke 24:47: repentance, as well as remission of sins, to be preached in His name, a lifestyle towards His purity, to carry out His Way for each to advance the Great Commission.
Personal sins: the 7 things the Lord hates: Proverbs 6:16-19--- start with the first; a proud look. Now, taking 5 minutes in private, with the Holy Spirit, ask Him if you have this old sin pattern. If you wish to confess it, He will forgive you. Then move if you will to the next step to exercise your free will to repent, choosing His Word to replace that old stronghold.

National sins: the killing of innocents, idolatry, sexual perversions, failing to stand with Israel and His Covenant: take 5 minutes in private time with the Holy Spirit to confess and to repent after any one of the above national issues.
Open time for sharing as anyone may wish to share: this is a powerful time to be open and honest with each other, building love in the fellowship, all growing in Christ, thanks to His Gift of Repentance!
