Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----

My dear friend, Jane Snyder, of Melchizedek's Treasure has written a powerful article to awaken MANY to God's Gift of repentance:

MELCHIZEDEK'S TREASURE

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What is repentance?
Why do we need to repent?
What do we need to repent from?
How does God's judgment work?
First Topic - Judgment
I have chosen to begin with the end – The Judgement- just because I like to get to the root of everything first and then read all of the filler reasons later for comprehensive understanding. I read most books this way too.
I have chosen you to be my analyst. You are so special!
I understand that you might not want to think about judgment, but my authority The Bible assures us that all humans are going to be judged by God; the good deeds and the bad. Everything you have ever thought in your heart will be seen by all. There are no secrets to be kept on that date.
Rev. 20:12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them; and they were judged, each one of them according to their deeds. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
Rev, 21:7,8  The one who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. But for the cowardly, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and sexually immoral persons, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Rev. 22: 14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, (confession) so that they will have the right to the tree of life, and may enter the city by the gates. 15 Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral persons, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.
THE SCALES OF JUSTICE
In church Sunday morning, I had a judgment picture revealed to me. It was a large Scale of Justice with each person’s sins on one side and all of their good deeds on the other. I thought that perhaps this was how people imagined judgment, trying to get the good to outweigh the bad.
You might think that your personal “self” is going to be weighed. The problem is that everyone was found weighed down by sin, EXCEPT for those who had repented of their sins and were covered by the blood of Jesus as children of Christ.. Those people had the sin side of the scale up to the top and their good deeds had outweighed everything.
These wise people had a marked degree of repentance covering their character. Whenever their “displeasing to God thoughts, verbiage, or actions” were realized by them, they repented and turned away from continuing in it. There was no guilt. They were covered by the blood of Jesus. Jesus’ blood sacrifice is for anyone who repents and asks for it.
OVERCOMING
I want to tell you a testimony from my own life, hoping its’ message will show you a way to overcome. When I was a new Christian, I found that God did not like hearing my foul mouth. I set out to conquer this swearing habit with my plucky will. I found that I could not overcome it at all. It would just slip out of my mouth like a well-rehearsed piece of music.
I got so exasperated with my inability that I told God the next time it happened I would kneel down wherever I was and ask His forgiveness. The next day I was confronted with a huge burst of anger in a parking lot when the car wouldn’t start. I knew it was those dmn battery cables, so I flung the hood open, ripped off my shoe and started pounding the battery while swearing in my fury. When I went to get back in the car, I remembered my vow and was mortified.
After starting the car, I knelt down in the parking lot by the car hood and asked for forgiveness. It seemed my shame was noticed by all. Since I was so arrogant my shame counted more than my repentance! Then, a huge truck passed by on the road and laid on the horn for long, and I knew then that God had heard and accepted my repentance. I was never tempted to swear again.
What this taught me was that repentance with self-humiliation is the real trick to conquering! I have used it many times. Self just hates to be humiliated. I think this is a world-shaking law! ha
REPENTANCE - Humility
Repentance starts with humility. This is the creature bowing before its creator. Merriam-Webster defines humility so simply:   “freedom from pride or arrogance: the quality or state of being humble.“ Can we ever free ourselves from pride and arrogance?  God can. We, ourselves? I doubt it.
PRAYER
Suppose we say a prayer each day to God like this, “Father, I come before You, with the intention to be acceptable and pleasing to You. If things are bothering You concerning me, please convict me now so that I can repent and change.
Please forgive me as I have forgiven others who have harmed or hurt me and my family. If I hold dislikes or grudges in my opinions or in blame, even from way in the past, show me, please.  I want to be clean before You, my Righteous Judge.
Show me how to live for others as You did Jesus. I want to complete my calling and destiny in good standing.
~~~~~~~~~~

I pray God answered some questions and gave you determination.

Matt 7:14 because small is the gate and narrow is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

***************************

As part of our GIVE 12 Project, as of March 21, a total of $10,771 , just over 20% of the GOAL of $50,000, had come in from our precious friends thus far!

Will you please add to this what the Lord places on your heart? God LOVES a cheerful giver, "and God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things and at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." (2 Corinthians 9:7,8) "The generous man [is a source of blessing and] shall be prosperous and enriched, And he who waters will himself be watered [reaping the generosity he has sown]. (Proverbs 11:25 (amplified)

Virtually 95% of the funds in the GIVE 12 PROJECT have gone out to address very real spiritual warfare and physical hunger battles being addressed by our repentance-preaching brothers and sisters, helping them bring in new believers in the growing Kingdom of YHVH.

God bless you, and THANK YOU!
