If you encounter a road hazard that needs immediate attention, please call VDOT at 1-800-367-7623 (FOR-ROAD) or visit my.vdot.virginia.gov. If you are experiencing a power outage, report it directly to your electric utility provider. Reporting an outage helps the utility identify affected areas and coordinate restoration efforts.

Stay at least 30 feet away from downed power lines and do not touch the line or anything that may be in contact with it. Report outages directly to your electric utility provider. Situations like down live electrical wires are emergency incidents and need to be reported to 9-1-1.
