2017 Medical Mission:
A Report from Armenia

In the past 10 days, 13 AAHPO members and other Armenian health professionals traveled to Armenia for a Mission Trip to hospitals and remote villages. Following is a short report from Mission Co-Leaders Joyce Kurdian, DMD, and Lucy Tovmasian, MD, with a few of the photos they posted on Facebook
Dr. Kurdian: Monday June 26.: Childhood caries is sadly rampant in Armenia. A very busy day...while the rest of the team went to another village, I was @ myasnikyan clinic in armavir region.

vascular surgeon and Executive Vice Chairman and Chief of Operations for the Heart and Vascular Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center
Carla Daria Simonian, MD, an OB-GYN and Faculty Director, OB-GYN at Hackensack University Medical Center
Richard Bedrosian, PhD a clinical psychologist with over 39 years of experience in treating depression, addictions, anxiety disorders, and aftereffects of childhood trauma or abuse, as well as a widely published author
Meroujan Maljian, MD,
a board-certified psychiatrist and forensic psychiatrist
Hasmik Stepanyan, MD,
a board-certified OB/GYN
Varduhi Danielyan, a dental student at the University of Minnesota
Adrine Giritlian, a Registered Medical Assistant and phlebotomist
